Wrapped Up The long-awaited video for hip-hop artist Rega has finally dropped, and Wrap MC's is already earning some incredible acclaim! Last week, the Rab crew took to Manhattan for the exciting premiere of the video. "Rega and his team definitely made sure the night will be in everyone's minds for a long time," said Producer Allison Freitas. "It was fun and effective, and that is a difficult thing to do." The evening not only included the screening, but also a high-energy live performance from Rega himself. "I love to perform," he explained. "It is one of my most prominent strengths. I felt it was important...because I know that people don't only want to see me, they want to feel me as well." And judging from the the number of fan videos springing up on Youtube and Facebook, the performance obviously made an impact. (continued below) |

Director Robert Bartolome commented, "The experience of watching [the video] with everyone there, the ambience, decorations, and performance... brought the project to a whole new level. I think it really proved how much power a music video can have." On the way out the door, visitors received a Wrap MC's gift bag containing stickers, two posters, and the CD/DVD box set for home viewing. Allison Freitas added, "Based on the response, we may even have more members join in on the fun!"
