Angles Strikes Back (Part II)
November 29 , 2009

Last week, Chad Hart talked about rebooting production for the popular Rab series, Angles. But Chad wasn't the only one making a return to the streets of New Bedford. Elvis De La Cruz jumped back into the role of "Ill" Phil, and this week he discussed his involvement in the series.

"I got involved in Angles when they first started having auditions," De La Cruz explained. "My good friend Bobby [Coburn] put me on to the whole thing! He went for a casting call and he told me about it. If it wasnt for him, I would have never even know about Angles."

When asked how production has been thus far, he said, "It has been a great experience. Meeting the director and working with him has made me more confident in my love of acting!"

The new scene will be featured in the upcoming 6-minute video, set for release on December 6 in Los Angeles. Future production dates have yet to be scheduled, but Allison Freitas explained, "This reel is exactly what we've needed for a long time, and it will play a major role in where the show goes next."

"I feel like Angles has no limits to what it can become," De La Cruz concluded. "I am more than excited [for the future]. The streets can't wait for Phil's own episode. I promise it is going to be something everyone needs to watch!"
