The Rab Roster
June 27, 2010

After weeks of buildup, the time has come to announce the new Rab Directors Roster. The music video and commercial industry is driven by hundreds of prominent directors and producers throughout the world, and the Rab crew is ecstatic to be working with a handful of these talented visionaries. Stay tuned each week for a new announcement and director spotlight.

A native of southern California, KC Amos has become a strong presence in the hip-hop music video world. With a deep background in post-production and an obvious passion for his craft, KC has been driven by a lifelong dream to make film. "I pretty much grew up on the set of movies like Roots, when I was three or four," he laughed in a 2009 interview with Real TV Films. "I remember actually pouting with my lip poked out... because I realized they weren't going to let me play with the camera."

KC's determination and drive have put him at the helm of a wide range of music video projects. Most recently, he directed three tracks from Mack 10's Soft White album, which feature recording artists Rick Ross, J. Holiday, and Lil Wayne. He attributes much of his success on set to his post-production background. "Editing is so vital in music videos," he explained to Real TV Films, "because it's all about the syncopation and the rhythm and the melody all coming together in one cinematic moment. And you only have four minutes to wow everybody."

The Rab staff is more than excited to have KC and his strong production philosophy on board for the ride. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks, all leading up to the launch of the Directors page.
