Settin' Up Shop The Rabstore has just celebrated it's half-month anniversary, and despite a small selection of products, visitors have already begun to respond with excitement. "Before we set up the store, our plans had been changing almost everyday," said Producer Allison Freitas. "But in the end, we decided not to get carried away, because it's important that we stay true to our work." At the moment, the store offers a growing catalogue of digital music downloads, all of which are by artists working directly with Rab Studios. "While we were in the early stages of our music video endeavors," explained Robert Bartolome, "we always thought the store would be a great way to highlight the people we're working with. We honestly expected it to be...more of a promotional tool than anything else." |

But with new albums and singles available every week, independent music-lovers seem to be enjoying the store immensely. Hip-hop artist Oh See Dee was quick to comment, "It's great 'cause Rab Studios got a very...[diverse] audience, so for new artists to be thrown into their circle is...perfect." The RabStore will also be offering apparel in the coming months. Products will include artist swag, as well as shirts and items related to projects like Angles. Be sure to check back frequently for updates while the store continues to grow and develop. |
